Glenmorangie Whisky, need some help please?!

Question: Glenmorangie Whisky, need some help please?
I was given a bottle of Glenmorangie Whisky, from and old neighbour 7 years ago, it's a Madeira Wood finish and is hand crafted by The Sixteen Men of Tain, it's a single Malt, anyone know if it's worth anything,I havent a clue about whiskies as I don't like it very much?

The Madeira wood finish came out in the 1990s and was one of the first of the special cask finishes. It was slightly dearer than the other two that came out at the same time, Port and Sherry, but it didn't really catch on. If unopened it may be worth a little more than face value since it is no longer available (perhaps 40-50 quid), but you would be hard pushed to find a customer. It isn't really rare enough.
However, if you gave it to someone who does like their (single malt) whisky it would still be a very welcome gift.

Life, Scottish and whisky lover

i had a quick look at a few websites and if its signed by the the sixteen men of tain it could be worth between £60 to £170

without seeing a pic of your bottle of whisky its hard to say and is yours a 10yr malt ???
