does alcohol convert to sugar?!

Question: Does alcohol convert to sugar?
OK, wine contains sugar - white more than red. I think white wine keeps me up for hours. Will red wine do the same? I think alcohol converts to sugar when my body processes it so red may be just as bad.

Alcohol coverts to calorie too little.

Well actually wine does contain some amounts of sugar. The grapes natural sugars ferment into alcohol, but your body does not reverse the process. There are still natural sugars found in wine. Each wine has its own level of sugars, there are red wines that have a higher content of sugar than white, but all in all they are all about the same really.
