Alcohol is a central nervous system depressant, and basically acts like a nerve pill, so to speak, so it relaxes the body and person. But, too much and your inhibitions are completely gone, and with that goes reasoning, etc.
Leftover Christmas ales. I had a Great Lakes Christmas Ale and am now having a Thirsty Dog 12 Dogs of Christmas.
