About how many 12 oz. beers would an entire bottle of champagne equate to?!

Question: About how many 12 oz. beers would an entire bottle of champagne equate to?
Can anyone tell me about how many 12 oz. beers would a whole bottle of champagne be equivalent to? I'm going to buy some for a friend and I, and we're usually beer drinkers. We usually have about 4-5 beers and get a nice buzz. So in order to achieve about the same level of intoxication, I'd like to know how many bottles of champagne I'd need to purchase, or basically how many 12 oz. beers one bottle would be equivalent to. The champagne is 12.5% alcohol, by the way.

Thanks in advance.

a 12 ounce beer contains 0.48 ounces of alcohol (4% x 12 ounces = 0.48)

I don't know the size of your champagne bottle, but let's assume it's 30 ounces: 30 x 12.5% = 3.75 ounces of alcohol

3.75/0.48 = about 7.8 beers worth of alcohol in your 30 ounce champagne bottle

Assuming the beer is 4%, one bottle of champagne is good for approx. a six-pack level of buzz.
