I recently read that people from Mississippi drink (per capita) 82 gallons of soda per year?!

Question: I recently read that people from Mississippi drink (per capita) 82 gallons of soda per year?
Do you find this as disturbing as I do? That means for every Mississippian that does not drink soda, some guy is drinking 164 gallons per year. It means that every single man, woman, child in Mississippi is consuming about 29 ounces of soda (2 1/2 cans) every day.

Answers:

Yes that's very understandable considering Mississippi is the fattest state in America in which 1 out of every 4 people are considered fat. But don't get me wrong Mississippi is a great state.

That is disturbing. But not as much as posting this in the Alcoholic drink section.

I think West Virginians drink as much if not more
