I need a recipe for Hot Buttered Rum?!

Question: I need a recipe for Hot Buttered Rum!?
I lost my recipe for this!. I know you let it cook in a crock pot all day, but I forgot what all the ingredients were!. Has anyone ever had this or know what all the ingredients are!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I've used both of these recipes, don't think I've ever heard of a recipe that needed cooking, other than heating the water!. The rum needs to be added cold, or it loses all of it's alcohol!. You can buy this first mix, or one like it in most liquor stores at this time of year, along with another similar concoction called Tom and Jerry mix

Ingredients

* 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
* 2 cups light brown sugar
* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
* Pinch ground cloves
* Pinch salt
* Bottle dark rum
* Boiling water

Directions

In a bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt!. Refrigerate until almost firm!. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the butter mixture into 12 small mugs!. Pour about 3 ounces of rum into each mug (filling about halfway)!. Top with boiling water (to fill the remaining half), stir well, and serve immediately!.
