My absolute favorite Beer is Dixie Beer (New Orleans), especially at A!.C!.M!.E!. with their world famous oysters!. It has an awesome sweet bite and no aftertaste!. Unfortunately during Katrina, they tore down the place and stole the wood barrels it was aged in!. So they make it somewhere else, and it just isnt the same!.
Now I drink Samuel Adams tap and it has a balanced, crisp, robust, full bodied flavor that I love!. Great Beer! I compliment you on your really interesting question!. I would like to find a new imported full bodied ales!.

I'm from Ireland and one of our most famous beers is Smithwicks!. It is an Ale but so much nicer than any other Ale you will get abroad!. I used to live in San Francisco and the local beer there wasn't all that great!. It was way too bitter!. Smithwicks is really creamy!. Has to be drank on draught though or large bottles!. Cans of it aren't all that great!. Other then that if I was drinking cans Miller Lite is really good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
We have a tradition at work where we go to the last brewery in Germany that is owned, and ran by a monastery!. Beer brewed by monks!. Kreuzberg Monastery!. It is a 70 mile trip but once you get there and dive into a cool beer it is worth it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
I love Belgian beers - Duvel, Hoegarden and the raspberry beer you can get on draft in the pubs there!. Yum!. These are really good but I wouldn't go far to get them though as I'm not that bothered about alcohol at all!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

The only beer I like is actually a combo of beers!. If you mix Harpoon Cider and Harpoon Winter Warm it tastes just like an apple pie!. It's SO good!Www@FoodAQ@Com
