Blood In throw up after drinking?!
I threw up on my third beer which is very unusual for me but that in itself doesn't worry me!. What does worry me though is that there was a lot of blood in my throw up!. It looked like someone was murdered in my bathroom!. Even worse is that the taste left in my mouth was very bloody!. Could this be a ulcer or is it possible that I just tore the lining of my throat, (my throat does feel kind of raw I was singing alot of rock band perhaps its a combination of the two!?)!. I guess I'm asking if you think it is serious enough to warrant seeing a doctor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are throwing up blood it makes a difference as to have much!. If it was just something you tasted a little in your mouth versus something you actually are seeing as you vomit!. If you are seeing something that looks like bright red blood when you vomit I suggest you go to the emergency department as you could a tear in your esophagus from vomiting forcefully or you could have a bleed in your stomach from the alcohol!.
If you see something that looks like coffee grounds when you vomit you should also go to the er because this could be from bleeding as well!.
The following will increase the likelihood for a bleeding ulcer or stomach problem
Excessive drinking of alcohol
smoking cigarettes
taking motrin asprin naprosyn or advil type products (not tylenol)
If your symptoms are not so dramatic it is still a concern that you may be over doing it with the drinking so it is best to cut back and see a medical provider to be evaluated!.3 causes
# 1 ulceration of the stomach due to alcohol!.
# 2 repeated vomiting may tear the lower esophagus & make you vomit blood after that
# 3 chronic alcoholingestion may cause liver cirrhosis which inturn causes the development of dilated veins at the junction of stomach & esophagus & these dilated veins may bleed easily!.
Good luck & stop the stupid drinking, its getting serious now!.If its bright red!.!.!.its probably from throwing up and a little bit of tearing in your stomach or esophagus!. If it is black or looks like coffee grounds!. Go to the emergency room That is a more serious issue and is in a whole different category and probably has nothing to do with drinking the night before!.
But its not uncommon for you to see some blood in your Vomit if you've been vomiting alot!.!.Lay off the booze!.!.or at the very least keep yourself in check when you do drink!. I mean obviously you aren't having a good time right now

If you start to see blood in your stool then go see a doctor, it might be a bigger problem than just a raw throat!.
I know it's gross but if your feces is BLACK (not just dark) then you have blood in it and you might have an ulcer or some other kind of stomach problem!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
