Question: How much are 1990 Chateau Lafites worth!? It was the year I was born, he has like 5 750ml bottles and 1 1!.5!?
Answers:
Wow, you have, or whoever he is, has some very nice wine!. 90 Chateau Lafite Rothschild is very highly regarded and has tremendous aging potential!.

I don't know why the other answerer stated this these wines were worth absolutely nothing!. Quite the opposite, these wines have great potential resale value!. Lafite is one of a handful of wines that actually have investment value, that is, it will get more expensive as it gets older, particularly wines from a great vintage!. This is because Lafite is a first growth wine (the bordeaux classification)!. That makes it pricey and wanted!. Just research bordeaux!. Of the hundreds and hundreds of chateau and negotiants and wine producers in bordeaux, Lafite is one of only 5 first growth Chateau's, its valuable!.

Currently, the 750 sells for about 600 USD and the 1!.5 probably around 1500 USD!. Magnums (1!.5) is the more desirable size!.

Ten years from now, it will fetch a pretty penny at an auction!.

The down side!. For that kind of money, if you are looking to sell, you will have to show that the wine was properly stored during, not just with you, but from the time it left the Chateau!. And most buyers or auction houses will have experts who can determine the state of the wine!.

But with only 6 bottles, I think drinking the wines during very special occasions would be better off than selling through an auction!. The wines you have are very special and you should drink them during meaning moments through the course of your life!. Stored properly, these wines are the special few that will age for a long, long time!.

Hope this helps and good luck
