Is it okay to eat cold water prawns with roe on?

i know this is probably a really stupid question, but just don't want to make my guests sick or anything. Am serving coldwater prawns for a starter and they all have roe, is this okay or not?

Wash the roe off, its enough to turn anyones stomach, poor mans caviar isnt to everyones taste! Have a great night :)
