Answers:
There are some that are treated better than others and live a bit longer because of that but they all "meat" the same fate in the end!.

For one, both dairy cows and layers hens have just as many males as females born but there's little to no use for the males so they are disposed of quickly and often very cruelly (such as putting the male chicks through a chipper alive or into a mass "garbage" can where they suffocate under each other)!. And, all the girls produce until they are spent and then are sent off to slaughter as well!.

Those kind of farms a becoming scarce, due to the high competitive egg, dairy and meat industries, the little mom and pop farms are soon to be lost forever!.

But even if they were treated well, it's the health issues that you must consider!.

Free radicals are produced by high acidity that these foods produce!. Free radicals are what causes most if not all diseases!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No none are!.
How good can a dairy cow get treated when it is being milked 24/7 against it's will!.
"It's natural" !.!. yea to feed their calfs but not the human population!. I always say this but it's true: Ask your mother (i don't mean you personally but anyone) if she would have wanted to not only breastfeed you as a child but all the children in the neighborhood!.
It's not pleasant!. Not to mention they are constantly pregnant so that they can keep producing milk!. Or they are given growth hormones and walk around with heavy milk sacks that cause them a great deal of pain!.

The only hens that may be treated nice are ones from a local farm!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Are you that determined!? So determined as to shun all cakes, pastries, cheese products, ice creams, chips, and so on!? Because the foods I just mentioned all contain either milk or eggs, but you have no way of finding out where they came from!. None of the ingredients on a cake, for instance, will be listed as "free-range" - a term that is often stamped without any verification!. If you're concerned about animal welfare, then why not visit a monastery and ask one of the nuns if they sell eggs or milk products!. My concern however, is about your health, and you're seriously sacrificing it by drinking cow's milk and eating chicken periods!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most organic cows are treated well!. Look for a badge on it thats says "certified organic" to make sure it's organic!. Whole Foods has a lot of organic milk and cage-free eggs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
