How do i start being a vegetarian?!

I started by cutting out meat!. Of course, I was new at it, so, in the first 4 months, I had meat about 4 times in total, feeling like **** after each time!. During this time I also ate fish!. About 5 months after starting the veg thing, I cut out fish and meat completely, which wasn't hard sense I didn't eat them regularly!.
A friend of mine is also trying to become a vegetarian!. She started by limiting the amount of meat to once a week, then every two, now she is trying to avoid it all together, except for fish!.
This method seems to work well for people since you sort of transition off of meat!. You realize that you can live without meat, so when you finally give it up, it isn't a huge deal!.
Honestly, I craved meat for about 6 months, but my accomplishments kept me from indulging in it!. Now, meat disgusts me, and I enjoy finding vegetarian alternatives to foods I used to enjoy with meat!.
There are lots of products to make the transition easier!. Some of my favs:
Amy's pot pie, burritos, and soups
Boca Burgers
Garden Veggie Burgers
"Not Chick'n" and "Not Beef" bullion cubes (for flavor in things)
Morningstar meal starters
Veggie pizzas
"Chicken" strips of various brands
And I'm trying my first tofurkey tomorrow!
And of course, everything else you've always eaten that is meat free!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

take it slow the transition from everything and possibly anything to just eating veggies is rather hard its best to begin with small changes and prepare for the hunger and transition of everyone in your household if it is a family choice it might be hard for some to let go of meat and meat-by products as they replace them with vegetarian item equivalents i my self have been vegetarian a couple of times and the main problem i have is that i start craving meat usually veggie meat does the job well enough some of the time but then again i love eating real meat

Stop eating meat!. No beef, pork, poultry, and fish!. Read ingredients for hidden traces of meat!. Watch for gelatin in ingredients!. It comes from pigs!. Make sure you are getting enough protein!. I use protein powder to supplement my diet!. I eat beans, nuts, grains, fruits, vegetables, vegetarian chili, and protein enriched pastas!. There is plenty to eat!. I'm never hungry!. I'm a vegan!. I became a vegan after watching a video on meat!.com!. So I don't have any eggs or dairy products either!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
slow down on eating meat gradually!. then i guess you'll be a veggie hero!. but if i were you i would just have less servings of meat everyday!. then have more salads or whatever

well stop buying meat!. cut off ur red meat, lamb and those first!. then cut off ur chicken adn fish!. its kinda hard at first, but u get used to it and enjoy it!. but whatever u do stop buying meat!Www@FoodAQ@Com
