Fellow vegans, what foods do you consume to get vitamin H?!

Question: Fellow vegans, what foods do you consume to get vitamin H!?
I have not been able to find anything about it, and am starting to question wether it is really all that important!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It is usually not considered that important because a human's natural bacteria (in the intestine) produce more Biotin than the body needs in the first place!.

So it is EXTREMELY rare that a person isn't getting enough!. No matter what diet they are on!.

But!.!.just in case you still want it:

Swiss chard, tomatoes, romaine lettuce, and carrots are some of the highest sources of Biotin!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vitamin H is important if you're short of it, but that's very rare!. If you are short of it, this would probably be caused by antibiotics taken long term!. Raw eggs can make people short of it, but that wouldn't be a problem for vegans of course!. Vitamin H is best absorbed when eating foods containing B12 or sulphur!. B12 is the one vitamin that vegans cannot get naturally, so we need to eat foods where it is added, such as some breakfast cereals or some spreads, or we need to take supplements

Vegans can get Biotin (Vitamin H) from cauliflower, mushrooms, spinach, brewer's yeast and nuts and it can be manufactured in the body should a small shortfall occur!.

Problems if you don't have enough Vitamin H are loss of hair colour, dry scaly skin, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, depression, inflammation of the tongue and high cholesterol!. If you have some of these it doesn't mean that you are low on iVitamin H; there could be many other causes!.

Yeah, BUT!.!.!.
Very unhealthy diets and very sick people will be lacking in biotin due to their stomach flora being so out of balance!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
