Fur was obviously killed solely for the purpose of the fur!.
Leather is viewed as a by-product of the cow!. The cow wasn't solely killed for its skin, but for its meat also!. The reasoning is that the cow was killed anyway, so may as well not let it go to waste!.
Still, people don't realize that the cow is actually killed for both, so while it wasn't killed solely for its skin, that was a major reason, which is why I avoid leatehr as much as possible!. (I'm not gonna complain if someone gives me a ride in their car's leather seats!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is a lot of twisted thinking going on in some vegetarians and all of those who judge them!. I lean very heavily towards being a vegetarian but never strictly!. Life doesn't need that kind of friction!. I lean towards eating like a vegetarian only because I know its healthier for me!. I rarely wear animal skins but not out of any kind of constructive thinking!. I have a real nice leather jacket and a suede one too but I rarely wear them unless I'm dressing up which is rare!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Animals are killed just for their fur, but leather is a byproduct of the meat industry!. People are vegetarians for many reasons, so it's up to them what they wear, as long as they don't eat it!. Vegans don't eat or use any animal byproducts!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
fur is expensive, and for the most part a pain to clean!. Not really a good material!. Leather though is useful!.
