Answers:
Actually, only 1 out of every 10 calories you eat needs to come from protein!. So if you are eating a varied diet, with fruit, vegetables, nuts, grains and legumes, you will be getting plenty of protein!.
Things high in protein are, beans, and nuts!.
You need to watch your B12!.
Vitamin B12 is needed for cell division and blood formation!. Neither plants nor animals make vitamin B12!. Bacteria are responsible for producing vitamin B12!. Animals get their vitamin B12 from eating foods contaminated with vitamin B12 and then the animal becomes a source of vitamin B12!. Plant foods do not contain vitamin B12 except when they are contaminated by microorganisms or have vitamin B12 added to them!. Thus, vegans & vegetarians need to look to fortified foods or supplements to get vitamin B12 in their diet!. Although recommendations for vitamin B12 are very small, a vitamin B12 deficiency is a very serious problem leading ultimately to anemia and irreversible nerve damage!. Prudent vegans will include sources of vitamin B12 in their diets!. Vitamin B12 is especially important in pregnancy and lactation and for infants and children!.
sources of vitamin B12 are vitamin B12 fortified soy milk, vitamin B12 fortified meat analogues (food made from wheat gluten or soybeans to resemble meat, poultry, or fish), and vitamin B12 supplements!. There are vitamin supplements that do not contain animal products!.

I really enjoy Boca's big vegan burgers, Light Life's Smart Deli fake meat slices, and anything you can find in your freezer section!. I have to go to a better grocery store to find more options, but I always did enjoy meat when I ate it, so I like fake meat products!. I don't like the high fat content of peanuts to eat enough to supplement my protein, and I am not that big a bean fan!. In truth, most people eat way too much protein!. It's basically propaganda by the meat industry to get you to buy more meat than you and your family need!. It's proven that eating too much protein can actually leech calcium from your body too!. Eat beans, nuts, peanut butter and multivitamins!. If you eat eggs, that's a great source!. I know dairy products also provide protein (milk/cheese/yogurt)!. also, buy cereals like FiberOne that contain protein!. And, I know South Beach Diet products have lots of protein!. I had a pack of granola clusters the other that was was a whole serving of protein!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
Go to GNC and get a Soy or hemp protein supplement!. It's expensive, but it is very high quality protein, and you can get it so it's all natural!. I'd say take Vitamin B-12 (make sure it's from a vegetarian source) and Iron (if you are concerned)!. Other than that I don't have any advice!. Oh!.!.!. make sure you do get the all natural supplements!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
