Question about vegetarian and weightloss?!
My moms friend is a vegetarian but is a bit on the chunky side!. How can this be!? I thought eating fruits and veggies was the healthiest thing you can do and is guaranteed weightloss cause of the low calories!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

a typical resturant meal for veggies tends to be something along the lines of four cheese pasta which probably will have 3 times more fat than the none veggies who are eating a stake and potatoes or something!.

I have friend too , who is a pure vegetarian but her weight
is 70kgs , she`s in grade -9 !.

When I used to eat alot of potatoes , my weight used
to increase , but I don`t mean that DONT EAT IT !
Its like every vegetable or fruit !.!.!.
Whatever you eat and have more than your hungerness ,
you become fat , the thing you have extra
wether its a fruit or vegetable !.
Or maybe she eats less and hungry most of the times ,
this cause badly , we become fat becuase we`re

I've been vegetarian for 2 months and i can tell u that because meat has vitamins in it that are hard to find in other foods (protein, iron, B-12)<you cant live without those, and i know there's others!. anyways because its hard to find good sources of them, vegetarians and vegans tend to actually eat more, but balancing it out with exercise can make being a vegetarian a healthy lifestyle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You are buying into the myth that a vegetarian diet is a weight loss plan!. Eating to much of anything can put weight on!. Fruit, rice, and pasta, are especially high in calories!. If you add in chips and candy your looking at problems!.

She just might eat the wrong foods!. Like my family goes to fast food places all the time, and we never have any "real" food at home!. So I always wind up getting fries or something!. She's probably just eating the wrong stuff!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
