Avocado Question...........?!

Question: Avocado Question!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?
How would one ripen an Avocado quicker than usual!?!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Avocados are special because they cannot ripen on the tree: they must fall off first to begin to ripen!. The best way is to select an already-ripe avocado at the store!. If you can't seem to find one, let it sit on the counter in a brown paper bag!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

leave it on the tree!?

it's not going to ripen naturally any faster than it's going to!.

if you buy it from the produce section, get it ripe!.!.!.

avocados don't take that long to ripen!.!. i get mine green and let them sit a day on the counter!.

if you push the ripening process with any vegetable or fruit you're going to get lesser of a result in overall flavor and element in general!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The paper bag definitely works!.

If you need it to soften immediately, you can actually microwave it for 30 seconds!. Take it out and squeeze and see if its a bit softer!. If not, put it back in for another 30!. Works like a dream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

put it in a brown paper bag with a banana- the banana gives off a gas that ripens it quickerWww@FoodAQ@Com

Only way I do it is to leave it out on the counter!. Usually ripens quickly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Two days sitting on a counter takes mine from hard to just right!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
