I am going pescitarian and I don't want to give in to meat?!

Question: I am going pescitarian and I don't want to give in to meat!?
Okay, so I am going pescitarian, where I don't eat meat except seafood!. It's because I don't like the idea that we need to slaughter an animal just to satisfy our needs!. But anyways, how do I not cave because I really like meat and I eat it often!? Thank you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Thank you for using the correct term-pescitarian!

There a lot of good fake meat products that can help you get through your cravings!. If you're craving chicken, hamburgers, breakfast meats, even hot wings, you can find frozen vegetarian products at the grocery store that taste pretty close to the real thing!. They're healthier than meat too, with less fat, so that's a plus!

Brands I use are Morningstar Farms and Boca, though there are plenty of others!.

It's great that you're thinking of the animals! Maybe eventually you'll make the switch to vegetarian!? :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are really committed to the idea, then eating meat will be revolting!. Slaughter is a violent word conjuring awful images that would quickly turn off one's appetite!. Perhaps you need to think more about this decision and the reasons behind it!. Are you really serious about it, or are you perhaps choosing this because of the influence of another person you want to please or impress!? If you are really committed, then think of the reasons it's important to you when you want that hamburger!.

May I ask you, though, why it is better to kill a fish than a chicken!? If you don't want to eat flesh, it's just my opinion that vegetarianism is the only way to avoid hypocricy!. I'm not a vegetarian, and I don't think there's a right and a wrong answer here!. It just seems contradictory to me to eat fish but not fowl to avoid slaughtering an animal, as seafood is life, too!. Animals that are bred for food have all the warmth, shelter, and food they could ever want!. They are slaughtered quickly and humanely so do not fret over eating meat because there is nothing wrong with that!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm glad that you are thinking of the animals, but is it fair to keep a cow alive and not a fish!? Think twice next time! Make me best answer please you *****!!!!!!!!!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
