Answers:
You dont have to have meat, you just have to have protein, which can be found in tofu, beans, nuts, veggies, whole grains, hummas, peanutbutter, dairy, eggs, etc!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

The deck of cards size is a recommended serving size, that's all!. A balanced diet would theoretically include I think it's two or three servings per day or meat or equivalent!. A deck of cards is pretty small really, your average steak would be three servings alone!. The average north american diet includes much more meat than this, so if you're looking to cut back you likely have some room to go before you're at one serving per day!.

There are things in meat that are not present in any other natural food, certain minerals and vitamins the human body needs!. So unless you're taking supplements, you'll need meat in your diet to a certain extent!. So eat more greens, you generally can't go wrong with that, and still enjoy your meat if you want to, just don't make it the biggest portion of your meal!.

Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

What your teacher meant was that a deck of cards is approximately the same size as a serving of meat!.

You don't need to eat meat to live!. Experiment with vegetarian sources of protein (you'll still get lots of fiber if you pick plant-based sources) and see if it helps with your reflux!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A deck of cards is one serving of meat!. You need two or three serving a day or some plant based alternative like beans or tofu!. You should ask your doctor or a nutritonist before you start changing your diet to try to fix a health problem!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That would indeed be the size of a recommended serving!.

Correction: You WANT some meat!. You don't NEED some meat!. There's no magic ingredient in meat!.

If you do indeed choose to eat meat, keep your serving sizes in control!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you dont NEED any meat, youve been misinformed!. is your teacher a nutritionist!? chances are, no!. you do need less protein and more greens, but as far as the deck of cards, trust me, you dont!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

no meat!Www@FoodAQ@Com
