Question:

How much iced tea do I need for 100 people?

I'm doing a wedding and I need to make iced tea, how much tea do I need for 100 people?

Answers:
No less than 10 gallons, 15 would be safer. Especially if it turns out to be a hot day. Tea sours pretty quickly so refrigerate it as soon as it is room temperature and bring it out as needed.

are you serious?? you're gonna MAKE iced tea? you know, you can buy those Nestea 2-liter bottles for like a dollar a bottle and it'll save you so much time and energy. if you make it, it'll take hours to make that much (approx. 10 gallons) and you're gonna have to buy a container to hold it.. what a hassle.. just buy it!

On a hot day, I say 24 oz per person or 2400 oz or about 19 gallons.

On a cool day, maybe just half of that or 10 gallons.

24 oz is about 2 cans.

If its going to be served with a meal, figure about 16 oz per person. If its going to be served throughout the event and along with other beverages, then you can figure on less. Iced tea is extrememly cheap, it won't hurt to have to throw some out afterwards.

You need alot of it. Try getting like 150-200 cans. Cuz when I go to weddings I drink like 2 cans of whatever they have.
