Question: Can i make Milk Tea without black tea?
could i use green tea? will it taste the same?

It will not taste the same because black tea and green tea have different, distinct flavors. Hong Kong styled milk tea traditionally uses black tea, but you can also use jasmine tea (other Asian cultures often use this tea for their rendition on milk tea)

Of course, you can try it. It might taste good.

Black tea is pretty oxidized tea. You can replace it with Wu Long tea which is a little less oxidized than black tea if green tea is not your taste. Here has some info about wu long tea. Very interesting.…
