What are my benefits from giving up soda?!

Soda is all together very unhealthy. I took it out of my diet and I don't feel bloated anymore and it's also much better for your teeth. Go with the iced tea or water, much better for you and of course, a lot more healthy. Dark soda is especially bad for you and weakens your bones (proven) so maybe cut to clear soda or gingerale before cutting it out all together. :-)
Soda is full of sugar (approx. 16 teaspoons of sugar in one can) and chemicals; it is terrible for you! Try mineral water (Perrier is really tasty) or try making your own low cal "soda" (lemon/ cranberry, or orange juice and seltzer.

Soda is liquid sugar. Our Mom's all told us not to eat a lot of candy. An occasional soda would be like treating yourself to a candy bar once a month.
Pop makes your face break out sometimes, and its not good for you at all.
