Shaken or stired, is there really a difference?!

Question: Shaken or stired, is there really a difference!?
Answers:
I believe shaken will really mix everything stired kind of moves the liquids around but doesn't mix them into one substance!. So you could varied flavors in same drink that is stired!. alcohol goes to the bottoms so if it is stired you will mix but it will still go down!. If it were to be shaken the drinks would probably mix better!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think that there is, but I'm not allowed to drink yet, so I guess I really wouldn't know!. And by the way, you put this question under non-alcoholic drinks, when I'm pretty sure that you are talking about alcohol!.

Hope this helped, sorry if it didn't!.

the difference is the metal used in a boston shaker doesnt cause a chemical reaction with alcohol, where as the silver in most spoons will cause a chemical reaction that changes the taste of the drinkWww@FoodAQ@Com

Shaking chips the ice, provides greater beverage to ice surface area, melts the ice more efficiently, and thus waters your beverage down faster!. Stirring helps cool the drink more slowly without chipping the ice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

stirring bruises the mix ,for optimal taste ,lightly shaken !.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i always shake ,
i think it gets it around better!.!.!.!.
