Green Tea Harmful to Health?!

Question: Green Tea Harmful to Health!?
Ok so I just recently fell in love with green tea about 3 months ago, and ever since, i have been drinking it non stop (specifically the lipton diet green tea)!. I drink a LOT of it!.!. and I mean a lot!. Probably around 6-7 servings a day!. I was just wondering if this is bad for me!? I know tea is good for you, but that much!? and its out of a bottle so does it mean the same thing!?

also, when I drink a lot of it, I sometimes get bad stomach aches!.!. I don't know if it has to do with the tea, but just a thought!.

Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Why don't you drink actual green tea made with leaves or a tea-bag and hot water!? That has zero calories/fat/everything!. Diet drinks contain sweeteners, some of which can have laxative affects at high consumption!. If you drank real green tea you'd get far better anti-oxidant benefits than something that's been through Lipton's processing plants!. Anything, anything at all, is better for you in it's natural state than some sort of synthetic or processed version that's been through a factory!. You won't be racking up loads of plastic bottles either, just a mug that needs a quick wash!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, it is pretty good, it may make you jittery but here is an awesome recipe where you KNOW what is put in it!.
* 4 heaping teaspoons loose tea
* 4 cups water

Directions

Place loose tea leaves into a warmed tea kettle!. Pour heated water over loose tea leaves!. Let steep!. Strain tea and serve!.

*Note: For Oolong and Green tea, water should simmer at 200 degrees F!. and 180 degrees F!.

*For Irish and English tea bring water to a full boil!.

*Black tea should soak for 3 to 5 minutes!. Oolong tea should soak for 4 to 7 minutes!. Green Tea should soak for 2 to 3 minutes!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Heck no! I totally get you!. I drink at least 3-4 servings of herbal teas each day!.

They aren't bad for you in the LEAST!. The japanese drink green tea like you do, and they live the 4th longest in the world!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Green tea is very good for you but too much can affect your ph level same as too much coffee!.Try to cut back a little but don't stop drinking it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Green tea is helpful, but all that fake sweetener in the diet iced tea is not, And then again the latest studies show that too much of antioxidants actually causes more free radicals to appearWww@FoodAQ@Com

i was drinking 2 cups of green tea a day but i didn't get on with it so now its decaff for me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
