Where can I buy delicious milk?!

Question: I've always thought that milk should taste better than what I've been drinking. Phrases such as "flowing with milk and honey" make me think feel that the local supermarket milk is lacking. Is there such a kind of milk? Creamy, rich, wholesome, and otherwise delicious? Where I can buy it? Any good brands of milk?

We have the option of delivery service from our local dairy and have 8 quarts of actual whole milk with real cream still on the top dropped at the door each morning. Though it does have a higher fat content than store bought,(some people are adverse to this although your body needs fats to function properly) I skim the cream and use that for butter and my baking. I prefer the taste and knowing that my kids are getting what they need for proper bone mass to develop. You may wish to contact either a dairy or a farmer to see what is available in your area.

I generally go with Hood whole milk, but all the whole milk around here is pretty yummy.

organic milk.

I'm in Canada

The best I've tried is 2% Microfiltered Dairyland

Those fun little udder-sucking machines that all commercial dairies use will sometimes cause infections in the cows' udders (so it's safe to say that some of that store-bought "milk" is just pus).

Find a farm (not a dairy) for the good stuff.

i think it is available in the supermarkets..........but people all over prefer lo fat milk which is skimmed creamy rich wholesome also means it gives you calories...........right?

there used to be a place that had I guess organic milk and you had to skim the curd off the top before you drank or poured it.
it was tasty and very rich.
it was the clintonville co-op market in columbus, ohio.
I don't think they still have it.

Try it from the tap.

you can get fresh good milk only if you move to rural area and have your own cow with nice feeding and take care of calf too.

I think the Oberweis milk is really good...

Look for fresh clean raw goats milk. That is the best.
Raw milk is legal in many states.
Find a clean source.
