Question:

Why is it that when I have a bit of junk food I end up going overboard? See details?

It's like I'm not satisfied with a little bit, and then I over indulge. This typically happens on weekends.

It's really beginning to bother me and I'm about to make a vow to myself to never eat it again because even when I'm not craving it at all, if I have a bit I end up not being able to control myself and go overboard. And when I make the right decision and don't have a taste, I usually lose the craving all-together.

This happens with junk like chips, popcorn and candy. Usually I like to have a treat day, but for about a month now my healthy eating habits are being blown to bits on weekends.

Any suggestions? Would stopping with chips/popcorn/candies on my treat days be a good idea? Those are pretty much the only thing I go overboard with. Not chocolate, icecream, nothin. Suggestions would be great. Thanx.

Answers:

Pregnant women tend to get very specific and sometimes odd cravings. Your eating habits has been blown to bits in the last month, have you done a pregnancy test?
Once that is eliminated, since when you don't have a taste you can resist, then maybe you should abstain all together.
Another answer could be that you have these cravings, but you resist for too long, so when you do give in you go overboard. Maybe indulging more frequently in minature proportions would enable you controlling the "monster".
Good Luck
