What is tapioca pudding REALLY made of?!

Question:

What is tapioca pudding REALLY made of?

My dad said it was made with Frog eyes, but I don't believe him... I'm just curious about what it really is(the little jelly things).

Answers:

Tapioca is an essentially flavourless starchy ingredient, or fecula, produced from treated and dried cassava (manioc) root.

Purchased tapioca comprises many small white spheres each about 2 mm in diameter (although larger grain sizes are available). These are not seeds, but rather reconstituted processed root.
