It comes from a rare barely ever touch nor seen mountain in southern new zealand called Mount Sodapop...Its a rare lime green almost yellow form of rock..every spring the snow from the top of the mountain melts into a liquid that is inticed with flavor from the rock. And thats where mountain dew comes from..gosh didnt ur history teacher tech you anything..haha, have a good one

mountain dew is just a name, it doesnt come from any mountain, mountain dew is made from a variety of products. look at the ingredients, it will be something like (carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, lemon zest, lime zest, blue #1, red lake 40, and alot of other stuff)
