I think that it is a money thing for the companies. Like non alcoholic beer for instance, it opens up a new group for the big beer companies to sell to which will make them more money. Now my Aunt likes the taste of beer, but doesn't always want that buzz from it, so she'll drink a non alcoholic beer instead. A friend of hers is an Alcoholic (recovered) and he drinks the non alcoholic beer at parties to resist his urges to get drunk. My mother in law can't drink alcoholic beverages due to her medical conditions, so she'll order a non alcoholic fruity drink instead. I drink the leaded stuff :) I would never buy non alcoholic beer, but I have had the non leaded fruity drinks with my mother in law. It is just a matter of taste and trying to fit in with your "friends" from what I have seen. Alot of kids that want to try the non alcoholic when their parents are ordering alcoholic drinks is a good example of trying to fit in. I guess everyone probably has their reasons....
Found this site about non alcoholic drinks that you may what to check out if you so desire: http://christianblogs.christianet.com/11...

Ha. I DON'T KNOW!
Let's tell someone.

Nobody knows that you're asking here.

Oh you mean "NON" not "none"...

To taste bad, of course

just for the taste

because your too dumb to handle them

alcoholic drinks are against my religion and when I did drink I almost made the biggest mistake of my life!

i dont get it either so im not sure lol but ill watch this to find out

So you don`t wake up with a 300 lb slob beside you after a hard drinking night at the bar.

cause some people dont like alcohol???? im not sure

to trick people into thinking theyre drunk lol

Some people simply like the taste, but not all that alcohol. these are also good for people who dont drink, but wat to feel like "part of the party!"

It's bad 4 u

to sober up and learn to spell the most basic words in the English language

Weeeell, there are people like me in the world who cant have alcohol due to the amounts of meds I have to take in a day. Basically my heart would stop if I drank alcohol. But I do love virgin dacquris... yeah that's spelled wrong... I don't care.

They're for pregnant women, people on medications, and other people who can't drink for whatever reason, but who still want the taste of their favourite drink, or who don't want to feel left out when all their friends are drinking.

becuase it hurts your body and it makes you feel bad.Its not good.

for better healthy health

So that you can still go to Happy Hour with the girls and not feel like a social outcast, or so that you can feel 'like a grownup' when you're only 16, or because youre either pregnant or a recovering alcoholic and still like the idea of a drink, or, and most likely, so that the restaurants and bars can charge us $6.75 for a strawberry smoothie

dats not nice of u, i hav wasted my tim hia, by clicking on 'answer' to answer ur question, where else i could have helped someone else with a genuine need...

For the virgi ns

I think this is a failed attempt at humor...

when one enjoys the flavor of their drink, yet is pregnant, it is best to by pass the alcohol until after the baby is born.

Even if someone is alcoholic,
and there are 'None' who are alcoholic,
We all need to drink...... fruit juices, Tea, Coffee, Yoghurt squashes,....
.... and what-have-you!!
[The same as what -I- have!!].......'cos God made us to drink !
