It runs and my family and I am no exception.

The best ways to reduce your blood pressure are reducing
salt and sugars. If you eat more vegetation and avoid
drowning you fruits and veggies in these your blood pressure
should improve. If you choose to stay omnivorous avoid
meat and by-products that have been drenched in sodium.
Processed, prepackaged foods are the worst enemy to
your blood vessels. You don't necessarily have to be veggie to have good blood pressure. You just can't overdo meat because it contains bad fats. Most doctors and nutrition specialists suggest that those who do eat flesh limit themselves to one ounce or less of white meat per day. If you wish to reduce your animal protein intake you might consider adding more legumes, nuts, and whole grains to your diet.
Veganism is more ethical, it's not necessarily
healthier. Exercise is essential also. There's no way around it.

Vegan, but honest about it.
absolutely yes, a good healthy well balanced vegetarian program will lower cholesterol and HBP and heal your liver
and I suggest you include Spirulina
There are a lot of books written by doctors who advocate a vegetarian or vegan diet to reverse high blood pressure. Do a search on the Internet and when you find some titles that interest you go to the library and check them out. If you really enjoy the book and want to follow the diet described then you can buy it. Good luck.
Yes, as your body is not working as hard to digest your meals, as well as eliminating the fatty toxins you are consuming.
Wheatgrass juice is especially helpful and very effective in lowering blood pressure!
Yes, because as a vegetarian you'll get plenty of exercise running to the bathroom to take a sh*t.
Yes Vegetarianism will help you.. However if you choose to remain omnivorous..You can make a few choices that will help your blood pressure.. Lower carbs and salt Reduce Red meat and Absolutely no pork... .....Eat More green vegetable such as Fresh Baby Spinach and plenty of broccoli... switch to Leaner meats as in Fish and Chicken...
OH yeah it will help. But you also need to watch your salt intake as well. Salt is hidden in things like soy sauce, pickles, etc..
But a high-meat diet will definitely contribute to high blood pressure. So if you go Vegetarian, you should see a change.
Just keep in mind that a vegetarian diet can be practically as unhealthy as a meat diet. I was 206lbs at 5'3" 17 years AFTER becoming vegetarian. Just, while you're making the switch, avoid alot of sugar, junk food, white bread, veggie meats, etc.. those things are okay in small quantities, but if you build your diet around them (like I did) then you can be just as unhealthy as when you ate meat. Your diet should focus on raw fruits and vegetables, salads, low-oil vegetable stir-fries, brown rice, whole grains, etc.. You'll see a dramatic improvement in your health. I've lost 67 lbs now since changing my diet from
