KitKat: Commercial bread often has egg wash or whey/honey in it. Sugar also isn't necessarily vegan.

I usually bake my own bread. It's cheaper and tastes better. I also think its fun to make it. I can add whatever I want in it, like different seeds and crushed nuts... Bread right out of the oven is so tasty! Especially with veg butter and strawberry jam. mmm..

yes and i make these little rolls with smartis , plain m&m or peanut m&ms in them i just add them to the dough

they have been a huge hit with everyone that has tried them

no i buy my bread.

I don't make my own bread but I have made homemade bread before and it is better than the stuff that you buy at the store.

I want to but I can't find a loaf pan anywhere! I recently checked Walmart and Albertson's supermarket and they only thing I found was disposable pans for $4 for two.

I managed to make banana bread, though, lol.

yes. i do from scratch. it is cheaper cause the recipe this guy use makes at least 12 to 13 loaves of bread each time he uses it.
I like it cause you can make your own different flavored breads from scratch but at a cheaper price than what you pay at the store.

I'm not sure what this has to do with vegetarianism but No, I dont...bread is not that expensive in the first place and the effort and time it takes to bake is in essence, money as well.

Yes, its so much nicer, don't think its cheaper though.

We can buy a loaf for 40p ( about 70 cents) in the UK, it costs about 60p-£1 to make a loaf depending on what seeds etc we put into it. And then its easy to make loaves for veggies, vegans, coeliacs etc

we bake fresh bread every day for our veggie guest house.

Not in the summer. It makes the kitchen too hot!

I do. The reason I do is that can I make better bread than I can buy and not because of the perceived saving of money. If you calculate energy and labor costs, you will discover that store bought bread is actually cheaper than scratch baked.

Also I have Celiac Disease & my homemade taste 100 times better than most Gluten Free Breads I can buy already made.

Yeah I love making my own breads/ cakes. I grind a little grains and pulses in my coffee grinder and make fresh bread. Mmm

It might not be cheaper for you but my gluten free bread costs 6 dollars minimum and this costs about 1 dollar.
