Hey anyone here a vegatarian???
vegatarians.... im just wondering-- what is ur reason for being a v.- i am one myself and i just wanted to know why most ppl do it. i do it for animal rights AND health. what do u do it for???
Answers:
There is no need to kill animals for my plate.
The whole meat industry is just so unnecessary.
Thats just about the only reason i need.
I'm a very strict vegan. Have been one for almost 16 years. I started out due to health reasons but fell in love with the lifestyle along the way!
I look fantastic, feel fantastic and have tons of energy and enthusiasm, so even if I was told I could eat meat again, I would just laugh and carry on as I am now!
I've been since I was like, 6.
I was basically a little hippie child and just liked to play with animals more than I liked to eat them :]
I'm a vegetarian but I started for cost reasons but remain vegetarian cause I'm much more healthy that way! When I was meat eater I was often landing up in the hospital for some sickness that was likely caused by the meat. I rarely wind up in the hospital nowadays! For me I really am healthier being a vegetarian!
I've been vegan/vegetarian for 10 years for ethical, health, and environmental reasons.
Same here for animal rights and health. God and man both have created so many kinds of vegetables to keep a man healthy and happy then why eat meat which you always doubt for its freshness and its purity.more over it is a messy job to clean and cook ,takes longer time and not much of a variety in cooking. There ARE so many desserts and sweets that can be prepared by being a vegetarian than a nonvegetarian. So eat veg and be happy, healthy and also wealthy.and wise.
I love animals and i wouldn't dream of killing an animal for food and also i am basically a vegetarian because my parents are too. Also vegetarian is good for health.
i'm a vegan... i'm also a vegan since birth until now... the reason y i'm a vegan is because i'm used to being a vegan since birth it is also because of ma religion, health, & animal rights
I'm a veggie strictly for environmental reasons. Vegetarianism is THE BEST THING you can do for the environment (yes, better than car-pooling in a Prius), so it fits my lifestyle for that reason. But I am happy that this lifestyle choice reduces animal cruelty as well.
I'm the same as you...:-D
Environment, animal rights, health, tastebuds (animal products taste TERRIBLE *vomits*), for the future generations, etc. etc....
VEGANS UNITE!!
Started caring about where food came from, only ate organic or small farm meat and not very often, eventually even then I had to ask myself " is it really necessary to kill them for my food" and decided no.
