Is your V&V title page broken?!
Is your V&V title page broken?
i get the impression many people are seeing "Here is the place for meat-eaters to go and slag off vegetarians and vegans in an umprompted and childish manner " rather than "food and drink/Vegetarian and Vegan"
Is your computer broken or something ?

Hazel 27...this forum is entitled "Vegetarian and Vegan". Of course they are going to get upset if meat-eaters trash the forum with thier nonsense. The general food and drink section si not full of veggies doign the same, is it ? No, you can quite clearly blame the meat-eating trolls for the degenerating of this forum.

It is mad.Why does the fact that we eat a different diet to them bother them? They seem to feel threatened by the fact that we live without using animal products.
yes, I hate it when meat eating murders come in here and start talking ****. I mean I know I am 5 IQ points smarter and way healthy and morally a better person so, I try my hardest to change them, but the fools don't listen.
VEGAN 4 life!!!
You're right... most of the people on this page just want to put down vegetarians. It's stupid and immature. Who cares what people eat? I'm a vegetarian and I don't criticize meat eaters, even though they eat dead animals. Why do they care if we eat vegetables?
I am a meat eater.
Don't do to me what you accuse others of doing:) before you read the rest. .
Personally I believe that anyone who slags off others is so insecure in themselves that they do it to 'prove' they are right. It only proves to others how puerile they are.
I come on to answers to genuinely help others. Anything else is childish.
So as they say in Allo Allo where's the wet lettuce:)
Yes, that happens a lot, but I have to be honest: a lot of the vegetarians seem to go to the religious section and do they same thing to those people (view people's "My Questions" in their profile).
When someone like Sister Margret comes on here, everyone should just ignore their questions, not pour gas on the fire. Don't give them what they want.
"An eye for an eye makes everyone blind."
You are preaching to the choir Michael H. I find it especially troubling when someone has the audacity to come into this forum and question the positions that many vegans hold to be true. We all know that it is only the vegans who are truly enlightened amongst us, and that they are morally superior and walk on higher ground than mere mortal vegetarians and omnivores. Oh, the audacity!
My computer is also borken. It is upsetting when I read through thoughful questions of people trying to get realistic answers and all you read is eat a hamburger and lots of anger! Not Cool!
I can't speak for other's, but I like the way that visiting yahoo! answers make you think about your own opinions. It can add clarity and perspective whether through asking or answering.
If you ask a sensible question with obvious leanings, you have to expect that your views will be challenged. There's no harm in that.
If someone asks a silly or preaching question, obviously you will get some abuse, but you'll also get some genuinely funny answers - even if you don't agree with their stand point.
Be grown up about it. On here you can let your views known without having to worry about being physically beaten up.
If you don't want to know what people really think, don't ask.
I think you'll find it works both ways. After all it isn't very friendly to call someone who eats meat a 'murderer'
It sounds as if you are condoning segregation, or the militant V&V's.
I used to look on here regularly for ideas and inspiration for meals but I've been put off by the attitude of certain people who seem to be taking over. Now I look occasionally to see if things have changed but no - still a war zone and I am rapidly losing respect for V&Vs.
Just for the record I have omnivores and vegetarians in my family and we all live in peace with each other - we must be unique.
Dissolusioned
Edit:
Rather confirmed my suspicions, Thanks for making me feel so unwelcome. Please don't make the mistake of assuming that we are all tarred with the same brush.
