Keeping food fresh?!

Question:

Keeping food fresh?

if the electricity were to out what are some way that you could keep food fresh

Answers:
For short term don't open the refrigerator until a couple of hrs after the power comes back on. Longer term, buy things the day you are going to eat them and use a cooler.

Ice is probably your only way.

Simply put then near watery area or in the water, either sealed them or not. Or, put them out door if you are living in cold countries and not in summer.
But in my culture, put the veggies near coldest area in your house ( some part of your house will be cold some not) and give them enough water).
For some of the veggies, also better to keep them sealed in plastic bean or can while keeping them near cold area or watery area.

eat it on the same day
