Is it normal for seedless water melons to have seeds?
we bought watermelon ( seedless) and as i was cutting it i noticed one seed is this normal or is the watermelon a fake .

That's so funny you asked that. I was cutting up a seedless watermelon yesterday and it had a few black seeds in. Maybe they don't mean SEEDLESS but seedLESS(than normal). I am loving melon so much this summer. I don't know what it is. Even cantaloupe. I think my tastebuds have changed!
if it is black, then you got ripped off. if it is white, it isnt considered a seed and they are ok to eat.
they may have tiny white seeds but they are okay to eat..i have never had one that had any black seeds in them however
if it is a white seed it is safe to eat, all seedless watermelon have white seeds.
I have eaten several seedless watermelons, and some of them had a few little white seeds in them. I think it's normal.

Yes, it's normal. They've got to reproduce themselves somehow! "Seedless" just have much fewer seeds than the usual varietites.
seedless is just a term but the older the watermelon the more likely it has a seed or two..

"seedless" watermelons really aren't that different from normal watermelons. They have seeds that are white and not very noticeable to eat. The main difference is that they are hybrids that have been selected for the poor seed production or slow seed development. This allows the farmers to pick them well before the seeds become a problem. Others can also be genetically modified to not produce seeds, but nature is a machine that likes to find a way to reproduce.
Even seedless watermelons have seeds. They are just very small, small enough you can eat them. How else would they reproduce if they didn't have seeds?
