I have lived 17 years as a vegetarian that hates vegetables.

I lived on pasta, sandwiches (veggie meat and miracle whip), Pizza, mexican (beans, tortillas, sour cream, chese). My diet was poor though, and I gradually crept up to 206 lbs (at 5'3").

Do you like salads and soups (even with vegetables in them)? I don't know how extreme your dislike is. Are there any you do like, or can at least tolerate well? (for me it's green beans, corn, broccoli, raw carrots)

Start out by eating the things you like alright first. Then gradually try to learn to like some other ones. To an extent, you will have to learn to like some vegetables, if you are going to have a well rounded diet!

Biggest tip I can give a vegetarian is Expand your horizons. Learn all about different ethnic foods. For example, INdian, CHinese, Thai, Koreans.. they all have yummy dishes that are naturally vegetarian, or easily made that way. If you can discover the delights of curries, stiir frys, lo-mein, pad thai, japbche, vegetable mandu.. your diet will be rich and varied!

Sorry friend, whether you eliminate animal products from your diet or not, you still need your veggies to remain healthy

Lol, I don't really know how to help you. I've always like veggies and fruit. Maybe you should pick up a cookbook?

try tofu.

Soup is good, when it's all totally blended up. (Not that I expect you to live off soup ! :D )

Um...you could also try vegetable juice (not something I've taken a liking to but each to their own).

I am more of a fruit person than vegetable so keep up a good fruit intake (juice, actual fruit)

Good luck!

Eat fruit or fruitcake. LOL

You should eat veg anyway! I know that people disagree on whether or not meat is bad for you, but nobody can say than an exclusively meat diet is good for you.

Start adding a few veggies to your food everyday, then slowly build up. Buy good quality veg and salad and make sure you prepare it correctly. Nothing is more off putting than a watery, mushy bit of over-boiled cauliflower. Fruit and salad is lovely if you buy good quality fresh stuff (organic tomatoes and strawberries are the most heavenly things on earth...not together obviously)!

Good luck :-)

Wow! My EXACT same situation I had when I became a vegetarian. I hated vegetables! But, now it's been about a year, and I am still a vegetarian. I used to replace most of my meat with cheese. BIG MISTAKE! Cheese is bad for your skin, but it's okay to have some each day, because it's good protein. As a vegetarian, it's good to have 4-5 servings of veggies a day, and 3-5 servings of fruit. During school, I put banana in my PB Sandwiches, and that covered one serving of fruit, plus gave me protein from the nuts in the peanut butter. Meal ideas are stir fry with vegetables, vegetable dumplings, lettuce wraps, pizza, veggie burgers, bean dip or cheese in tortillas...etc. I would try to drink atleast 2 glasses of milk a day too. Also, soymilk is very good! The brand Silk is awesome! It's good protein too. Some good vegetables I found were tasty were green beans, corn, edimomi, carrots, and snap peas. For others that don't taste as good, mix them with stuff. EX: Mix in brocolli with cheese, or in noodles, rice. I went vegetarian for your same reason, and now, thinking of eating meat makes me want to throw up. Good luck, and don't give in to peer pressure or others bugging you about it! :-)(-:

ew other people thats disgusting no wonder you all gained a lot of weight

if you dont like vegetables simply eat fruittt, which everyone loves!!:D
theres mangos, strawberries, coconuts, etcc numnumnum
and also replace meat with fake meat
chinese restuarants make it rlyy good
but from health food stores they are fine as well

GL and i hope you go vegetarian and dont to much gain weight if any

I am a vegetarian who doesn't eat many vegetables. If you eat tofu, you'll just get as much protein as before and the vegetable thing won't get much worse. Being vegan however might not work for you

B-12, think about it !!!!

Try eating raw vegetables. Yes I know you don't like vegetables but think about it minimal preparation and more nutrition. Snow peas are great. Try it. You'll see. Pumpkins tastes good too. It's so convenient.
If you really must cook them try steaming and make a French salad dressing to put over them - oil [something really good like macadamia oil]; vinegar or juice of a fresh lime or lemon; garlic freshly chopped; and real French mustard.
Otherwise try stir fry. Capsicums (peppers) go well in this.
You could eat fruit at one meal or snack.
