Well i am a vegetarian, and i don't eat meat. It is not worng to eat meat but if you think about it a certain way, your a murderer.

no, it is great to slaughter animals for our own nutritional benefit

I eat chicken and fish, but I don't eat mammals.

How could eating meat be wrong?
In nature many animals and even some plants eat meat. If that's wrong, the whole of nature is wrong.

Well let's see:
The fish have mercury.
The cows have mad cow disease.
The pigs have swine flu.
The roadkill have rabies.
I think I will stick to lamb.
And the vegetarians who don't eat the above need to have
vitamin B12 in their diet.
And is "hehe" laughing at me? (^_^) (^_^)

The cycle of life depends on the cycle of death. Animals are meat eaters. As humans, we raise and slaughter cattle, chickens, turkeys and fish to sustain our lives. It is, as the old axiom states, the survival of the fittest. To not slaughter animals is to invite disease as they die in the wild. Oh sure, you can sit on your porch for the rest of your life and nibble on carrots. That's your right. It might even be healthful for you as an individual. By and large, though, humans are meat eaters.

Physiologically, we should be fine just eating vegetables and fruits as long as we make sure we have all the nutrients our bodies need. Some religions teach us that eating meat is wrong as it takes away the life of an animal. Others teach us eating anything is fine as long as your heart is pure. Still others teach us we should fast if we want t be spiritually strong. I belive it all boils down to accepting what others believe in and not impose our thoughts and beliefs on other people with different beliefs and backgrounds. I'm an occassional vegetarian. Hope you do well in your assignment.

It depens on your religion in the Jewish religion u can't eat pig and it depens on the cosher foods.

Of course it is wrong to eat an animal. It is also wrong that some people kill to earn a living.
Violence begets violence.....

This is the vegetarian section, most of us here are vegetarians and some of the others that post here are trolls.

No, its just a matter of personal choice. I eat meat but I don't eat veal, duck, or lamb because I know these animals are treated cruelly. I want to get foie gras banned nationwide because the method used to make it is heinous. I'm all for animal-rights; I believe that animals should always be treated as humanely as possible.

Ima vegetarian I think its wrong to send an innnocent little animal to death for our own comsumption ok an dhalf the animals you eat have had infected lacerations that went untreated and now your eating that meat and chicken 99% of chicken has been contaminated by fecal matter

I'm a vegan and yes it is wrong to kill and eat animals! We don't even need to eat them to survive!

Yes. But I try very hard not to let it show that I think that. Meat-eaters are very sensitive to anti-flesh consuming sentiment, ya know.

I am a Vegetarian.... so I do not eat meat
But I Think there i nothing wrong with something .. when other people eat meat...

I think.. everybody can do what they want... and they also should accept and respect their opinion about eating meat... or being a Vegetarian.

It's very wrong to eat meat!

completely immoral. you wouldnt eat your dog or cat, so why eat a pig or cow?

I eat meat every day

No its not wrong to eat meat, its just some people just love animals, and they make a decision not to eat meat. There own opinions.
