If your question is referring to types of protein such as Whey, Soy, Casein, Egg, etc... and their effects on building muscle, then my answer would be Egg protein.

Eggs have the highest net nitrogen utilization rate, since nitrogen builds muscle. You can see this with all those Nitrogen hemodilators and such on the market replacing the once popular creatine. They also have a best amino acids on a single protein.

Whey is great post workout because it is absorbed quickly, and your body needs it post workout.

Soy protein is also good because it contains high amounts of glutamine, which is the most important amino acid for muscle building. They say that Soy raises your estrogen level, but only if u consume ungodly amounts per day will it have any effect.

So, all in all Egg is the best. It absorbs at a medium rate, so its perfect for any meal and post work out. Your body uses 100% of the Egg and does not pass any excess to the liver to be oxidized.

Eggs, meat , and spinach!
