Unfair to not include Q?
Why is there a section for Vegan foods, but not BBQ?
dont tell me the regular section includes bbq, because it includes vegeterian dishes. there are a lot of Q fans out there, why dont we get our own section?

If you want to have any chance of getting an answer from the Yahoo Answers team you should ask this in the Yahoo Answers Forum. Look up at the top right corner of your screen and click on the Forum link. As a guess to why there isn't a special category for BBQ I'd say that Yahoo doesn't see any marketing research value to it. You do realize that Answers is all about market research don't you?
BTW; you seem to imply that BBQ and vegetarianism/veganism are mutually exclusive and that's not the case at all! There are over a hundred resolved questions in the database here dealing with all the wonderful things that vegheads BBQ and grill.

Right now, "political correctness" is the squeaky wheel - but if you and enough other people make noise, I'm sure they will put in a section on BBQ.
If this is your biggest problem, I suggest you count your blessings.....
I would think BBQing would fall under Entertaining because it's something you can do and enjoy w/all your friends!! Vegetarians are just BORING!! (That's their choice though...YAY them)

Though, talk to YAnswers and maybe they will add it. They can also add baking, broiling, boiling, deep-frying etc..
We aren't really the best source for solving your problems because we don't know how YA works either.

That sounds like a fine idea. Suggest it in the Y!A category, though.
Taunting people in the vegetarian/vegan category isn't going to make the category come up any faster.
Because vegans, gays, and so called minorities complain so much they bow down to thier needs in fear of lawsuits and get thier special sections here on yahoo answers!
