vegan = no animal products

vegetarian = no meat.

A true die hard vegan does not eat any dairy,no eggs, none of that. Vegetarians are the ones the do those foods.

Umm vegans dont eat that stuff.

true vegans don't eat eggs or milk

Actually, true vegans don't eat any animal products, including eggs, milk, cheese, gelatin, etc. The reason vegetarians are okay with eating those things is because you don't have to kill the animal to obtain them. Well, actually with gelatin you do, but not with eggs or dairy products.

You are mistaken. VEGETARIANS refrain from meat, but vegans do not eat ANY animal products, including eggs, cheese, dairy, and honey.

Vegetarians don't eat meat, vegans don't eat meat nor dairy.

vegans don't eat dairy products, vegetarians do. regardless, the difference is that a cow isn't slaughtered for milk, and a chicken doesn't get it's head chopped off for an egg, etc. you do the math.

VEGETARIANS don't eat meat but consume animal by products.

VEGANS are VEGETARIANS who don't consume any animal by products, milk, eggs, leather etc...

Vegans are people who don't eat any meat drink any milk or have anything that had come from an animal. Vegetarians don't eat meat but they do eat eggs and have milk...that sorta thing.

vegans dont use or consume any animal by-products

Vegans don't eat any animal products.That is the vegetarians who eat eggs and dairy products.

Vegans don't eat eggs or other dairy products or drink milk.
Vegetarians do though. That's the difference between the too.
Vegetarians who do eat eggs will eat organic eggs. Which simply means the chickens are fed only grain. They drink soy milk which is very good and more healthy than cows or goats milk.

I am a vegan and i don't eat meat, poultry, fish or dairy products, that is what a vegan is.

no eggs

A vegetarian essentially does not kill an animal for food. There are different categories of vegetarianism. There are lacto-ovo vegetarians, who eat dairy products & eggs; vegans who don't eat any animal products whatsoever; lacto vegetarians, who eat dairy products but not eggs; ovo-vegetarians, who don't eat dairy products but do eat eggs. One is not essentially killing an animal by eating dairy products or eggs, so no, it is not the same as eating meat. However, dairy products are not the best foods for humans, as cow's milk is for calves, not humans.
