A vegetarian doesn't eat meat or fish or products made from an animal (eg. cheese with rennet in it or gelatin). Basically anything that means the animal has to be slaughtered. A vegan doesn't eat meat, fish or any dairy products (milk, eggs, cheese, cream, yogurt etc.) Any product from an animal - dead or alive - is off limits to them.
Vegitarians eat eggs and "animal products" like milk and such and some eat fish.
Vegans...no dairy, no foul, no well... tofu anyone?
A vegetarian doesn't eat any meat.
A Vegan doesn't consume anything with animal bi products
Vegetarians will not eat any meat but that's about it, they will eat everything else and sometimes sea food. Vegans wont eat any meat no seafood either and they wont eat anything that comes from an animal like eggs or milk.
Vegans don't eat ANYTHING that comes from an animal, including milk and eggs. Some vegans are so strict in their beliefs that they won't eat any vegetable that can't be completely cleaned of animal life (such as brocolli, since you can't be completely sure of rinsing away all the tiny insects in the florets).
Vegetarians don't eat meat, but some eat eggs, and most drink milk. Some vegetarians even eat fish, they don't consider fish to be meat.
there are multiple types of vegetarians, some of which eat eggs and dairy, just dairy (milk, cheese, etc.), or just eggs. they base their diet mainly around vegetables and fruits.
vegans do not eat anything that comes from animal, and usually do not associate themselves with products that involve animals or hurt them, like wear fur or leather shoes. vegans do not eat eggs, milk or milk-derived prodcuts, and anything with animal-derived ingrdients in it, like starbusts that have gelatin. vegans base their diet striclty on vegetables and fruits.
Vegan - no animal products to eat. No honey, no milk products (butter, cream, cheese, whey, eggs etc.), no silk, no leather, no wool, no feathers (no down jackets or comforters or duvets or pillows). Vegan is not just what you eat, it encompasses a whole lifestyle.
Vegetarians eat some animal products that don't involve killing the animal. Eating fish is not vegetarian! No red or white meat or fish.
Some vegetarians eat milk products and some eat eggs.
i've heard a vegan doesn't eat any animal by product or fish?
Hi! A vegetarian will eat NO meat, NO fish but might choose to eat only dairy products (lacto-vegetarian) or only eggs (ovo-vegetarian) or both. (ovo-lacto vegetarian).
A vegan on the other hand eats NO animal products. That means no dairy or eggs and sometimes no honey too.
Hope I helped! =) xx
