Will going vegetarian promote weight loss?!

Question:

Will going vegetarian promote weight loss?

Answers:
depends on what youre eating. you can be a vegetarian but still eat cookies and chips and a bunch of other unhealthy foods that could even make you gain more weight!

It really depends. A lot of vegetarians eat meat substitutes and some of these are actually quite fattening. If not vegan, they can also over do on dairy products and fattier foods. Vegetarians have to watch what they eat just like everyone else.

No, I know this vegetarian that is really fat.

not if you are already skinny.

no

ohh i tried that.. and no it dont work.. what did work for me was i ate nutria grain bars and ceral bars for breakfeast and lunch and a regular dinner.. sighhhh but then when i lost 35 ibls i thought i could eat anything i wanted and started to eat those dam candy bars and now i am back to where is started from..

For some, yes. When I became a vegetarian I lost about 15 lbs. I think it just depends on the person.

If you pig out, you will be fat on any diet! I know a couple of fat vegans. They eat with shovels! (Just kidding about the shovels, but they eat several plates full of food per meal)

it can either promote or demote weight loss. it can promote it because vegetarianism means you dont eat meat which can be really bad for you, and make you gain weight. it can demote weight loss if you eat more junk food instead of veggies and fruit. good luck!
