Answers:
I know what you mean, They can be a huge pain in the ***, I just tell them that I have to go my steak is getting cold.

Eat meat if you want, I'm veggie but don't care!

Just remember that you are the one getting all the cholesterol!

They're the same as religious freaks. They all think they've discovered the absolute best way to lead your life, and feel the need to show others how great they are by reducing the other people's self-esteem with their way of life.Weather you're eating,praying,driving,singing... you should do it the way it makes you feel good and let people do things their own way.
Now where's that beef steak......

i've never known any vegetarian to force their ideas on people, and i've known ALOT of vegetarians.

I had a vegetarian friend tell me that man wasn't made to eat meat. I countered by asking her how the Inuit people ot the north or people living in deserts were supposed to eat a diet of vegetables when they can't be grown their year round, if at all.
Her answer was to get really mad at my logic. What can you do?

they jus don' like the smell of it. so they feel its groce man.

Because vegetarians are enthusiastic about the many benefits of vegetarianism they've discovered, they want to help others to be as healthy & happy as they are. It's only those who don't want the benefits of vegetarianism & are set in their ways that the meat eaters are resentful of their enthusiasm & eagerness to share the health benefits.

hmmm... there cud be 2 reasons...

the 1st one s tht some veggies cant even stnd the smell of non-veg let alone the sight of it... so 't mayb tht its not comforable fo r them when u go out to eat together....

the 2nd one being they are genuinely bothered bout ur healt... as such meat s not bad but it has its repercussions wen the intake goes overboard... the fact s tht a with the same nutritional value 500 gm veg meal takes bout 3 hrs to digest wheras a non-veg one consumes around 16-28 hrs therby exerting undue pressure on ur digestive system...

n more than anything plz don get such silly issues in da way of ur frnship cos it's not really worthwhile bothering bout it... ryt?!!!

if you knew a truth that was over looked, you'd want to spread the word too.

I know. I have heard second-hand of vegetarians who feel the need to "convert" everyone much like the members of some religions (whose names will not be mentioned here in the interest of peace).
Some do it because they feel that others are hurting themselves by eating meat. Some say they do it for this reason, but actually do it because they need to make themselves feel better about their own decision to not eat meat. And some do it because they enjoy being self-rightious and they feel that you, as a meat-eater, are offending them in their quest for a meat-free world.
I personally was ridiculed by others growing up for not eating meat. I just don't find it appealing in smell or appearance. But I never talk about it, much less harass omnivorous people like you, so I guess I'm the proof that it IS possible to be a vegetarian and simultaneously NOT be a jerk about it.

Why are meat eaters hanging around in this blog to harass? I doubt that you know any vegetarians.

The only veggies like that I've ever met were straight edgers. And not all of them are like that! Personally, I find it's the other way around, with omnivores bugging veggies--telling them to eat meat, that they must not be very healthy, that their children are going to die, etc. Are you guilty of this behavior? Maybe these veggies are retaliating!

Good question. When's the last time you saw meat eaters harassing vegetarians at the salad bar? Maybe we should start doing that like the peta terrorists do to KFC patrons.

I don't, because I don't care about what other people eat. My vegetarian friend don't do it, too. Pretend not to notice it.

Not all vegeterians do that , but some do.
Just like some meat eaters do the same to vegeterians.
All people should be able to eat exactly what they want without any rude comments from others about their food.

Not ALL of them do...

I get alot of flak for being vegan, even from my family.I've never told anyone to stop eating meat.Trust me,vegetraians get alot more stuff from meat eaters.
