There has been reports on the news about it

There were reports on the news that all the products made by Mars would have bits of Calf stomach lining in. This has now been decided against so now none of the products are affected.

Your friend can happily munch

Emma

none, its made with milk

calf or caffeine?

all of them!!! beef in chocolate?

read the ingredients, if it says gelatin, you don't want it.
check out carob products at health food stores, or make your own...

Calf?

As in veal??

No chocolate should.

What in the Sam Hill are you talking about. A calf is a baby bovine, do you seriously think there is meat in chocolate bars?

I don't think any chocolate bars have calf in it...

Yes I know you mean milk.

If calves can give milk, that is a new one to me...

Do you mean calf milk, as in milk for calves?

The decalf ones.

no chocolate has baby cows in it

veal has calf in it, not chocolate

well,
all the mars ones like snickers, mars etc now have changed to a different supplier of whey which means that they used to be suitable for vegetarians but no longer are.

Also nestle twix and kit kat arent.

As far as i am aware all of cadbury's chocolates are vegetarian as well as brands like green and blacks.

At the beginning of May, the Mars Company started putting animal byproducts into their candy bars in the UK. I think sometime in October, they will start putting the same byproduct in their US distributed candy bars.

Mars products include Milky Way, Snickers, Twix, M & M's.

Stick with Hershey......they're better IMO anyway.

Baby cows in CHOCOLATE BARS???? Where the **** do you people get your info?? Totally bogus!!!
If it bothers her that much just avoid any chocolate with gelatin, though it is usually from a vegetable source, like seaweed, or go with carob... though that tastes like dirt.

There shouldn't be any now but stay clear from mars bars and maltesers

Cadbury's are safe-they said that they don't and never will use animal rennet when this story broke.

Some others may be-look at the wrappers for ones that say 'suitable for vegetarians' or something like that on.

masterfoods have now changed their mind about using rennet in their products after receiving so many complaints.

Laura secord dark chocolate doest. look at dark chocolate bars don't contain milk. Chocolate nibs(raw chocolate) are really good for you and taste great as a tea!

Plamil do a range of vegan chocolate bars, and quite a few plain choc bars are vegan from bigger companies, but you'd have to check. If she is vegetarian she's probably quite happy to have milk products. As far as I'm aware, there are no choc bars with actual calf bits in, though I did used to love a mint fondant one that had gelatine in

Strange iv'e never found a cow in my chocolate just one that was eating it...Ha Ha...

need some meat love to improve your intellect

Great isn't it, in a previous question somebody asked if we should wear leather shoes!

Now you think its ok to drink milk and eat milk containing products, make your minds up - they are both animal products.
