They lack protean it is essential to a sense of humor. Seriously they defend there actions as a substitute for there want for meat
Undermining suffering and deaths of billions beings is not funny. Asking same question over and over again (like "do plants have feelings") after it's been answered and backed up with facts is not funny either. If you lost a friend and didnt want to joke about it, and try to explain that it hurts your feelings, would that make you a "rabid fascist"? How is that a funny subject?

hahaha. kinda true. but those are only the vegetarians and vegans who are completley against animal cruelty and would do anything to stop it. not me. i just hate meat. soo not alllllllll vegetarians and vegans have no sense of humor.

They totally ignored the part about "I am the Ukiah Rabbit Messiah." I rofled all night at some of the replies.
My family jokes with me and I don't make a big deal or act insensitive.But they don't like it when I joke with them.They'll say something like real men eat meat,my uncle said that,and then I said,why are you laughing,you just had a quadruple bypass heart surgery because your arteries are clogged from all of that cholesterol.Then he got all pissed and said that I crossed the line.WTF?My family will wave meat in front of me or say I'm missing out,or they'll call me a hippie,but if I wear a meat is murder shirt or call them a murderer everyone will get mad and can't take a joke.They want to dish it out but can't take it.Anyways,most of them time i just ignore it.And what you posted wasn't even funny because 1)You stole it from maddox 2) It's so old and used up 3)It was never funny in the first place.
Any joke a meat eater says,I've heard it hundreds of times before,such as PETA(people eating tasty animals) or Plants have feelings too or vegetarian is an old indian word for lousy hunter.i've heard them all before and none of them are funny.
Who says they don't. It's just a good idea to keep the spam level down.

For someone who calls themselves Love Doctor ..... I think it is exactly what you are lacking ... Love ... you have a pessimistic attitude towards life and I am sorry for you .. Too bad you can't open your heart and your mind .. Vegetarians and vegans laugh , live and love .. we enjoy life to the utmost .. you should give it a try sometime and perhaps it will fill your sadness.. I am sincere in this ... We have a sense of humor. Unless you're one of those overly mature business executive rich stuffy preps, you probably have a decent sense of humor. It's just that we are forced to defend the way we eat more than we actually eat our food. Wouldn't you get a little annoyed if at least one person found something wrong with every single meal you ate and sat there trying to draw you away from what you believe in? At almost every meal? So we can get a little defensive, and then we find ourselves pulled into a debate about animal rights when we could just be eating our food and talking about our lives. And I've actualy heard people use the jokes as actual reasons not to eat certain foods, so that whole thing just gets messed up and confusing.
We still have a sense of humor, though. We're normal, healthy people with normal lives and lots of friends. We can still be crazy and happy and hyper and have inside jokes with our friends. Yeppers, we sure can. Just because we don't eat meat doesn't mean we can't have fun.

It's because you're not the only person posting these jokes on this forum. It gets old. It's not really funny to make fun of someone's lifestyle, especially when it entails deep seated beliefs, even comparable to a religion, if that helps. I get tired of being ribbed about it in real life sometimes, because I don't LIKE to be the butt of jokes all the time, do you?
My sense of humor tends to be somewhat dry/sarcastic, so goofy lame-@$$ jokes just don't do it for me, especially when I've heard them 1000 times.
