Any recovering vegetarians out there?!

Question:

Any recovering vegetarians out there?

Are you like me? Tried it but didn't like it? Glad you're back to normal?

Answers:
i was vegetarian for over 10 years (vegan for 3 of those years). over the last year, i just got sick of eating the same things and wanted some diversity. i started eating chicken and fish. sometimes i wish i still was vegan or even vegetarian, but eh.. it just got too difficult when i went out to eat. and my boyfriend's mom loves to cook and i always felt so bad with her having to make a special dish just for me. i hated feeling like such an inconvenience. i still don't eat red meat/pork/random other things.

if i knew how to cook, and actually ate right as a vegetarian/vegan, i probably would still be one today. but i ate really bad then. i like to think that by opening up my options i am at least eating a little healthier.

Recovering? its hardly an illness.

nothing to recover from. I was crippled when I ate meat, and now I am not. I prefer not to use my body as a graveyard for decaying animal flesh-nothing good about that
