Hiya

Make a marinade from soy sauce and some spices, maybe a bit of soy milk to make it less strong. Cut the tofu into squares and marinate it for about 10 minutes or so.

Place on an oiled baking tray and bake in the oven for up to 40 minutes, turning the pieces over halfway through. The texture comes out nice and crispy on the outside, and a little chewy on the inside.

You can do things like dip the marinated tofu into a micture of flour/spices and nutritional yeast before cooking to get more 'nugget' style pieces.

Check out www.vegweb.com, and see the tofu section for other ways to bake tofu.

It is pretty tasty when it is sauteed in a frying pan and lightly browned. It is, of course, a matter of personal taste. You can season it with your favorite spices too. Enjoy!

in a stir fry. Just add veggy In a pan with water cover and simmer tell veggys are tender then add a little oil and stir uncovered tell done. Eat over rice.

Try stir frying it with some ground soy meat, Kind of like the Japanese dish mabo tofu. Or you can always cook your tofu with veggies...yum!

this website tells you why you SHOULDN'T eat tofu......

I make a great tofu dish with what you have. Of course, I add more stuff but you get the idea.

I cut the tofu up in little squares, heat oven to 450. Marinade the tofu in a mixture of oil, soy sauce, crushed red peppers, sesame seeds, and basil.
Let marinate for 30 mins. then bake tofu for 30 more minutes or until nice and golden crispy.

Sooo yummy. Thats my dinner tonight actually.

As a chef I had the opportunity to travel to Japan and was taken to a restaurant in Tokyo were they serve only Tofu, it is in soup, stir fried, braised, serve cold in miso and soya sauces, scrambled with veg to look like an egg dish, I still buy a sweet version, silken in texture with a almond flavour.

With a limited amount of ingredients and space to prepare it, try to make things you can do in a short time, like marinating the tofu and either pan frying it, and making a tofu burger, stir fried with veggies, braised with shiitake mushrooms and cabbage that you can just bake in the oven.

Try as much as you can think of and if you have a Asian market around you and they have different types and styles of tofu, like seitan, preserved, fried and softer versions, the sky is the limit, you are only curbed by your imagination as to the variety of things you can make.
