The organic food craze has really taken the cake. The biggest difference is the price, the product is almost identical. Organic means that no chemical pesticides are used, but all pesticides that are used on foods sold in America have been shown to be safe for human consumption.
To save the tofu that you don't use just stick it in a glad-ware or sealable plastic container and don't keep it for more than a week.
Usually around 50 cents to a $1. Organic tofu is grown without pesticides, etc. Regular does not follow those strictures. I would imagine them to be the same, taste and quality-wise.
Of course organic is always better. It means that plants are growing under natures own conditions. This takes longer time, and more work, that is why it costs more. But imo it is worth it.
soy beans (which is what tofu is made from) are the most genetically modified plant. you for sure want to get organic to make sure it is a REAL food not created in a lab!
Organic things are grown naturally, without chemical pesticides, fertilizers, or other harmful things.
Its basically the same, yet is supposed to be healthier organic.
they are both made from soybean except one is grown with chemicals and the other is not
