Are lollypops likely to contain anti-vegetarian ingredients?!

Question:

Are lollypops likely to contain anti-vegetarian ingredients?

i've been eating loads lately n it suddenly dawned on me it could have stuff like gelatin etc??

Answers:
More than likely they don't have anything anti-veggie but it may depend on which kind. Most just have corn syrup but some may have cream in them if you are choosing a gourmet type lolly. It also depends on where they are made, some manufacturers use a meat based soap to clean their equipment. You should research the exact kind you are eating.

That would depend on the lollipop manufacturer...gelatin could be an ingredient, but it doesn't HAVE to be.

The only way you can know for sure is to check the ingredient list on the brand of lollies that you're eating. Even if the ingredients list doesn't appear on each lollipop wrapper, it should appear on the package/bag that the candy came in. Also, there should be a web site available from that manufacturer, where they list ingredients and nutrient contents of their products.

Some of them contain gelatin which is made from animal bones, but you'd have to check with the company to get confirmation on that. Gelatin substitutes are also used in a lot of sweet candies that are completely vegan.

wow, anti vegetarian lollypops?

i can only think of one kind of meat pop~ haha

and im sure youll never give those up~ jk jk

i think lollipops contain a type of meat render. that allows the candy to harden.

You illness is distorting your reality.
Stuff like gelatin is far more "pure" than any of your in the dirt
vegetables.
Gelatin is cooked, boiled, filtered, dried, ground or cooked into sheet and dehydrated .
I have NEVER heard of anyone getting Botulism, E-coli or any problem from gelatin or jello or marshmallow's
ANYTHING esle is a pure distortion and lie.
Objections are insanity.

Yes they do. If you eat ones with red food color (carmine) that is made from crushed cochineal beatles. The sugar in them is filtered through char (crushed animal bones-same stuff used in fish aquariums) and many contain "natural" flavors or colors that are animal derived, and some contain gelatine. You could make some homemade ones using better ingredients and organic natural sugar

loaded with sugar maybe....artificial flavors....

they contain gelatin. that is an animal product.
