What is the average lifespan of a vegan that started at a young age?!

Question:

What is the average lifespan of a vegan that started at a young age?

i read somewhere (forgot where) that the average vegan lives to about 100. but it thought that this was dumb, because if someone starts at a late age, they wouldnt be as healthy as one who started at a late age. So i'd like to know how long a healthy dieted vegan that started at a young age would probably live.

Answers:
A Vegan would not have a an average lifespan of 100, that adds more than 20 years onto the current lifespan and it woudl see people flock in droves to join a vegan diet.

On the whole, life-long veggies and vegan tend to live 5-10 years longer than meat-eaters. Thats from informed studies, not those sponsored by the meat industry that we see peddled out all the time. V&V live longer because the meat-eater average is reduced by heart related deaths, and because veggies and vegans tend to think more about thier general lifestyle as well, so are likely to eat heathier food and exercise.

6 weeks. Meat is good for you.

you don't have to be vegan from a young age to incur the benefits of the lifestyle...but you're gonna die no matter what, so you might as well enjoi life.

I don't know if its 100, but vegans and vegetarians tend to live longer, healthier lives. If you're either, and you do unhealthy things like smoke or drink excessively, then you're not going to be that healthy. Vegans and vegetarians need the same vitamins as omnivores, so they have to make sure they get the right vitamins to stay healthy.

200 days or 200yrs i forgot

You can't really say something like that because of other factors like exercise, what kind of diet they have (if you just eat salad and drink soda, not long at all because you aren't getting any of the nutrients you need), and what other lifestyle choices they make (all my vegan friends smoke cigarettes and drink). Vegetarians and vegans, however, do live an average of 15 years longer than a typical omnivore.

Any one who says that they live longer than or short without backing it up with factual data is talking b*ll*cks. The reason why veg*ns seem to live longer is that they will not binge out on fast food or junk food. One can happy live on a balance organic diet that includes meat if you don't over eat and cut out all the bad things.

Vegetarians have reduced riscs on cancer, heartdiseases, cholestrol and so on. Plus they normally eat healthier (greens, natural oils). I've read somewhere that they live 5-7 years longer. Plus they are healthier at an older age, have less ilnesses and are mostly happier (cause they tend to walk and exercise more).
